Torah, five books of Moses in Bible

Fishburn and Hughes: The first five books of the bible, considered by fundamentalist Jews to have been written in their entirety by Moses under divine inspiration. In the Pentateuch the bestknown passages are Exodus 3:13-15 and 6:2-3. In speculative Cabbalistic literature, however, there is a common belief concerning different levels of esotericism which holds that every permutation of letters can be a name of God, so that ultimately the whole of the Pentateuch can be reduced to names of God.
